Privately owned and maintained by the Temecula Valley Rose Society Inc., our 3.4 Acre (1.3 Hectare) garden was established in 1991 when society members planted the first 800 roses. Evolving over the years, expansions include 1900+ rose bushes, various trees, companion and native plant species, a hilltop gazebo, walking paths, picnic area, education pavilion, "Tree of Life" planting and education garden, newly improved "Hall of Fame" garden, and the recently renovated reflecting lily pond with a waterfall.
In 2020 the Temecula Valley Rose Society kicked off a fundraising campaign to support our 3-year master plan for renovation, improvements and new features to the Garden. We are excited to announce that a significant new feature will be the construction of the Boos Courtyard Labyrinth, which will feature a 24 foot walking labyrinth encircled with 220 commemorative engraved Donor Bricks. This is an outstanding opportunity for members of our community to join the "Help Us Grow Our Garden" campaign, be recognized as a Donor, and become a permanent part of this enchanting Garden, enjoyed by so many over the years.
We launched this exciting project to our membership on August 20, 2020 and to the community September 17, 2020. The Boos Courtyard Labyrinth will feature a 24 foot walking labyrinth encircled with 220 commemorative engraved Donor Bricks. New landscaping, including Sweet Bay Laurel shrubs, white Drift Roses, and Sugar Plum – Cranesbill ground cover, will surround the labyrinth and bricks.
Fifty-seven (57!) bricks have been purchased, with an additional 30 committed toward the "Help Us Grow Our Garden" campaign. Reserve your place in our history today, and as a Donor be recognized as a permanent part of this 'Treasure of Temecula.'
